About the BWDD

The BWDD was established and founded by Steve Read, a Design Consultant and New Media specialist, together with a small number of founding members, to encourage and promote:

  • Industry standards within the UK web design and development sector.
  • Customer satisfaction within the UK web design and development sector.
  • Clear communication to help demystify an industry well known for its techno-speak.

BWDD members can include freelancers through to major design and development companies.

Customers and clients are provided with a clear choice of suppliers with the peace of mind that their chosen supplier has been recommended by past clients and that they have demonstrated certain minimum skill levels. All customers should of course satisfy themselves about a Company or individual, before entering into any contract with them.

Member benefits include an entry on our approved list of web professionals, use of the BWDD Seal of Approval on your website.
